Quinton Jay is Oregon Micro Fund’s Managing Director and leads the organization’s investment and fundraising activities. Quinton has over 20 years of experience owning, building, operating and investing in businesses in the banking and corporate finance, wine and beverage and retail industries, including Bank of America, Coca-Cola, Artesa Vineyards and Winery, Etude Wines, and Bonny Doon Vineyard. Having been an investor and financing recipient and as current proprietor of Bacchus Wine Shop.

Having shaped strategies and with hands-on experience in sales, operations and marketing in many small business, wine, finance and construction ventures’, Quinton knows what it’s like to be in your shoes and is committed to helping business owners in rural Oregon achieve their full growth potential.

Quinton earned Bachelor of Science degree from California State University at Long Beach and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Rick Pastore is a Loan Committee and Board Member with Oregon Micro Fund. He has over 25 years advising national retailers, lenders, developers and investors, including CS First Boston and ING Clarion, in strategic real estate portfolio planning and asset management. Additionally, Rick has worked and interfaced with Dunkin Brands, T-Mobile, Lowe’s, Walgreens, Starbucks, KFC and Taco Bell in strategic planning, property development, franchising and information systems. 

Combined with his education and training as a civil engineer, Rick contributes his technical and business expertise in evaluating a company’s business operations and assessing its financial health.

Rick earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investment at New York University New York.

Eugene Okita is a Loan Committee and Board Member with Oregon Micro Fund. He has served for over 25 years with both the US Army and US Army Reserves. When he isn’t serving with the Army Reserves Eugene, he is employed as a Department Army Civilian, Aviation Support Facility Supervisor, and is responsible for managing a multi-million dollar budget, overseeing maintenance, flight and training operations for over twenty rotary and fixed wing aircraft and support personnel for the Army Reserve Aviation Command. 

Eugene’s technical, tactical and business acumen are vital in assessing and valuing a company’s equipment and facilities needs and requirements.

Eugene is a graduate of California State University Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science in History and Minor in Business; an Associate Degree in Business Marketing from Orange Coast College and US Army flight school in Fort Rucker, Alabama.  He was later certified as an UH60 Blackhawk/LUH72 Lakota helicopter Instructor Pilot and Instrument Flight Examiner. Eugene flew the UH60 Blackhawk in combat missions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom I, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom VI and Kosovo in support of Operation Joint Guardian XX.
